Malapropism (n): The unintentionally humorous misuse or distortion of a word or phrase; the use of a word sounding somewhat like the one intended but ludicrously wrong on the context.
This is one reason why Cary loves me. I am totally a malapropismist. This would be a great time to give an example of one of the hundreds of times I've incorportated the wrong word into a sentence, however they are so spontaneous and unintentional that they are forgotten after a good laugh.
