Yee Haw for Rockville

This weekend is the annual "Field Day of the Past." This fair-like event happens about a mile from our house. It's very country, with tractor pulls, games, rides and even a Ferris wheel. For the past several years Cary and I will be in bed, trying to go to sleep but with the loud over powering noise of machines in the background. So we decided to check it out this year. Tim & Cristy came along for the ride and it was a perfect night! The weather is slightly cool and we pulled out the jackets, hopped in the Jeep and headed down the road.

Cristy & I right before the truck pull, which is not to be confused with a tractor pull....that is later in the evening. We left before the tractors started (I think my dad would be disappointed in me).

I think this was the winning truck.

Tim & Cary....

Cristy and I were so cold on the short ride home that we snuggled up tight in the back seat of the Jeep. Of course Sweetie decided to impress Tim the second this picture was taken by hopping the median right in front of our house. Thankfully the camera was okay.
