Mother's Day

I think Mother's Day is one of the best days of the year.

It doesn't have the same hype as a birthday or chaos that's Christmas, but it's just so special.

Today was perfect. We headed to church, Cary made waffles and bacon for brunch, I took a little snooze (would have loved it if Ellery was capable of napping with me but maybe one day), we played, took a long walk to the store and my parents came over for dinner.

The only regret is not getting a picture of me and Mom.



This little girl is one of the best things God could have blessed my life with. I take the privileged of being a mom very seriously. To think that God has given me the responsibility of raising one of His children brings tears to my eyes. I feel so honored!!
