The annual Monument Avenue 10 K was this weekend. We had some last minute drama. My good friend and close running partner Jaclyn had signed up to run the race almost as soon as registration opened. It wasn't until the day of packet pick up when she was looking for her confirmation # that she realized the registration transaction didn't go through properly and therefore she was not able to run the race! I was SO SAD!! THANKFULLY my friend Nan was participating and she kept me going. This was her first race and 10K so she rocked it out. Finish time was 56:20, that's a Personal Record!! :) (Courtney, while I was running I was remembering all the fun we had last year.)
